Pastel Spring Hazy Mountain Wedding

There are very few words I can use to accurately describe Libby and Seth’s spring Hazy Mountain wedding day. The weather? Perfection. The florals? Overflowing. The emotion? Overwhelming. These two really brought together a top-tier vendor team to craft an incredible experience for their loved ones that helped them start their marriage off on a celebratory note.

PRE-CEREMONY

We started the day at the stunning Tuscan-style villa on the south end of Hazy Mountain’s property. There, the girls were being pampered by the excellent team at Posh Bride as they got their hair and makeup done. I got straight to work capturing all the stunning details. Anthony buzzed around the house capturing all the fun getting ready moments. Soon, it was time to get dressed and Libby had an emotional reveal with her bridesmaids and mom. After she was dressed, it was a whirlwind effort getting all of the ladies up to the venue and tucked away for the ceremony. We also had some time to meet up with Seth and his guys before guests started arriving, which was a fun time.

CEREMONY + PORTRAITS

The ceremony!! *dramatically faints* The ceremony space at Hazy Mountain is truly one of the best I have ever seen. You have FANTASTIC views of the mountains and beautiful light all around. Tourterelle Floral Design absolutely stunned with a full ceremony arch and stunning floral arrangements through the ceremony space. The ceremony was emotional and personable – just how we like it! After the ceremony and brief celebration with the wedding party, we took family portraits at the altar. Then, we loaded up the bus and rode with the whole wedding party down to the lake for wedding party and newlywed portraits. The sun was still high in the sky, so we had some fun with the more direct light and utilized the variety of backdrops the venue offers.

COCKTAIL HOUR + RECEPTION

Time for the party! If you know me, you have heard me talk about how important cocktail hour is. Good drinks and delicious apps help this time go smoothly for your guests! Libby and Seth’s friends and family enjoyed small bites and custom cocktails lounging on beautiful furniture provided by Paisley & Jade. After introductions and first dances, everyone enjoyed dinner before we snuck off for sunset portraits. Once the sun had set, we heard toasts from Libby and Seth’s closest friends and then the pair cut the cake. Dancing was underway, and then before we knew it, it was time for the sparkler exit and getaway in Libbys’ family’s vintage Jaguar. So cool!
