This Morven Park bridal session is one of my favorite since this bride has turned into a good friend! Tylar and I first met when she was the day of coordinator for a wedding I photographed last summer (for Audra and Justin!). We became friends quickly and I found out she had just gotten engaged. Tylar scheduled a Zoom with us and her wedding planner, which was wonderful. We were so excited when they chose to book with us! Before they officially tied the knot in September, Tylar and I met up to take these bridal portraits. She chose Morven Park in Leesburg, VA due to the classic nature of the historical home. Additionally, there are many stunning garden spots throughout the property – perfect for a bridal session!
Tylar chose to bring along her best friend and wedding planner for her Morven Park bridal session. We absolutely loved meeting both of these ladies! Tylar’s wedding planner was Patricia with Your Plan A Events and she was fabulous. She is actually Tylar’s new cousin-in-law! While there, she was so helpful with posing and fluffing. She even made Tylar’s bouquet. We traipsed throughout the grounds, starting at the historic home. Then, we went to the garden and took photos with the flowers. The grounds also had a beautiful pool, so we utilized that next. Finally, we ended the evening in the golden summer glow.
